Our 2025

FROM LEARNING TO ACTION: EDUCATION AND CIVIC COMMUNICATION

For us at the Foundation named after teacher Enrica Amiotti, 2025 – our 55th year – was very busy and we want to tell you about it!

  1. Consoldated JUN-ECO TV and launched JUN-ART TV: our two new school WebTVs conceived and created by the “under-14” on sustainability and civic economy, music and art in 10 Piedmontese and Lombard schools;
  2. Together with 6 Foundations and 4 Associations of the North-West, we were among the promoters in Milan of the “Harmony Days”, 2 days on the value of music in education and society;
  3. PEGASO brings scholarships from Abruzzo to Burkina Faso, 12 years after the first “From Dream to Project”, calls, with primary school children as “protagonists of doing”; in the city and around the world;
  4. The second edition of the kit JUN€CO chas been printed, with which 10,000 boys and girls from all over Italy have already “played ethical economics” and the MAT-ECONOMIA notebooks are on the launch pad;
  5. A new national initiative is ready to disseminate the “ABC Educating Communities – Art Well-being Citizenship“, strengthening collaboration between schools, local organizations, and associations to foster social communication at school, for school, and from school.

Below is some more information, an invitation to follow us on:

  • www.fondazioneamiotti.org and www.rinascimente.tv
  • on our social media Facebook and Instagram, talking to us to become, together with us, protagonists of a “School that (re-)builds Italy” around the world, through concrete, measurable, connected, and sustainable actions over time in micro- territories (neighborhoods, cities, rural and mountainous areas).

1. We’re still fresh off the excitement of JUN-ECO TV’s December 2nd PARTY, the school-based WebTV for the environment and ethical economics! It was a magical pre-Christmas sharing moment where some of the 35 classes of 7-14 year olds from the 5 Piedmontese ICs who participated and won our JUN-ECO TV Call awards gathered in Turin: students, teachers, and parents had the opportunity to share their elaborate videos and experiences, discovering new methodologies and creative worlds. We thank Elena Cappai, director of USR Piemonte, and Luca Streri, founder of Mezzopieno, the Italian positivity network, for their valuable contributions. Here are some shots from the day and a short video.

2. Meanwhile – again with the support of the CRT Foundation – the new JUN-ART TV Project, the school web TV dedicated to music and the arts has been launched with two successful partners: La Fabbrica dei Suoni (with its website www.tumtumciak.tv ) and the Fondazione Cittadellarte Pistoletto. We started on November 28th with the first teacher training session led by our trainer Francesca Rossi: the teachers put themselves on the line between takes to test, first and foremost, the beauty of learning while having fun and doing to include.
From theory to practice, from learning different television formats and shots to film staging with camera and microphone (each with its own role, which can then be exchanged) up to post-production. We are sure that they will be able to pass on to their pupils the same passion and love  for their work that they confirmed they had on that long November afternoon!

Our Foundation has been an agency accredited by the Ministry of Teacher Training since 2018, and was also active in 2025 in online and in-person classroom training courses, self-funded or with contributions from the PNRR School (WebTV, JUN€CO, STEM, Civic Education, etc.) or the Teacher Card.

3. For two days, on October 11th and 12th, Milan was the Capital of Harmony, in the name of music that is good for children and society: 30 speeches were grouped into four sections: Harmony “from Myth to Economics” and “from Art to Well-being” “from Neuroscience to Education” and “in Society and Institutions” with performances by very young musicians.
We hope that the initiative will support new initiatives for the dissemination of musical practice starting in primary school, as a discipline and “school of social life” promoting joy, awareness, creativity, and commitment, as pedagogy and neuroscience teach.

4. The Pegasus Project for Burkina Faso, which is fully underway this school year after being launched in 2019 (pre-Covid) by the I.C. Loreto Aprutino – already involved in our JUN€CO initiative (Ethical Economy and Active Citizenship for Primary Schools) and continued in the Vestina del Pescarese area of the Città Sant’Angelo IOC, with a school-community fundraiser of over 8,000 euros. A Service Learning project “from the North to the South of the World” leveraging the SME’s “From Dream to Project” methodology: the goal was and is to bring new opportunities for education, health, and prosperity to the village of Ouedkiongo in Burkina Faso, a sub-Saharan country where only a third of residents can read and write. Since October, thanks to the Amiotti Foundation and the Congregation of Father Mathieu active in the village, 5 scholarships and bicycles have been distributed that will allow 3 boys and 2 girls to attend Middle School in a nearby center for the next 4 years. Micro-loans to village women are also being planned to create vegetable gardens and chicken coops on common land.

5. We reveal something new that’s still in the works: together with maestro Serafino Caloi, we’re co-producing the booklet “Mat-Economia” dedicated to children in grades IV and V Primary School. The book aims to acquire mathematical language as a tool for thinking and interpreting everyday economic reality, so they can participate consciously and not suffer. This material will further enrich our JUN€CO KIT made up of 6 playful-didactic units and dedicated specifically to students of the IV and V Primary schools, launched in 2017 and now reprinted: over 10,000 girls and boys from all over Italy have already played there: try it too in your schools and families, also thanks to the Teaching Card.

There’s a lot of “meat on the fire” right? There are truly many projects and, above all, ideas that we constantly dream of realizing: we believe in active and inclusive teaching that sees the very young protagonists of their educational and developmental journey as future citizens, aware, responsible, and happy. To facilitate this process, our mission has extended to the construction of ABC –Arte Benessere Active Citizenship– Educational Communities, through which comprehensive schools form socio-educational hubs in micro-territories (neighborhoods, cities, valleys), involving families, cultural and sports associations, local authorities, and the fabric of local businesses. We want to strengthen them in Piedmont and extend them throughout Italy and the Islands, with your help.

Get on board and make a difference with us! To contribute to an open, active, and inclusive school that builds Italy’s future, enhancing its place in the world through concrete, measurable, connected, and sustainable actions over time in your territories (neighborhoods, cities, rural areas, and valleys), you can:
